With over 19 years of experience in contract laboratory management, Martin has a remarkable career that includes 11 years in the pharmaceutical sector, seven years in research and development, and an additional two years in the food industry. 
He has expertise in quality control for both raw materials and finished products, including sterile and non-sterile ones. He's also experienced in developing and validating methods for finished products, validating disinfectants, and rigorously validating laboratory equipment. His profound knowledge of analytical microbiology enables him to effectively meet the evolving demands of the industry's diverse clientele.

Martin has been the driving force behind teams entrusted with conducting routine GMP analyses and crafting essential methods for routine testing. He's adept at evaluating and implementing rapid analysis methods and cutting-edge equipment, particularly in the pharmaceutical and food sectors, with an emphasis on the automation of antibiotic and microbial identification tests. Additionally, Martin has played a pivotal role in the establishment and execution of stringent cleanroom validation processes.

Martin has a Doctorate in Microbiology with a specialization in the ecophysiology of microscopic fungi from McGill University. He also holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science, which focused on the isolation, purification, and evaluation of entomopathogenic fungi from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières. Furthermore, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from the University of Quebec in Rimouski.
